'Sofono' electric disc heater
The slender 'Sofono' electric disc heater is a design classic, originally created for the Festival of Britain in the early 1950's.
It is also an extremely effective and lightweight heater in the home or office. Its adjustable 2k convector system heats up a small to medium sized room in minutes, great for taking the chill out of a winter morning; while the coiled element, mounted on a ceramic cone, independently creates a directional heat that glows in it's chrome bowl like a rocket engine. The rear side (not shown in photographs) is a simple off-white disc that makes a beautiful neutral form sitting on four chrome triangular feet.
This item will be sold fully checked and re-wired for Irish voltage.
Please note: this vintage piece is not suitable for areas of the home where small children or animals have free access.
